it's been a long day. I woke up at 6:30am to make a 9am flight across the country to Los Angeles. I worked the entire way there and then when I landed and got to my hotel, I walked about 5 miles running errands. and I was the only one walking - no one walks in LA, eh? I still love it here though, California is DEFINITELY the best coast.
now, I'm in a hotel room in Marina del Rey and just made the executive decision to stop working and finally be on vacation and enjoy this gorgeous place.
Lu gets back in a bit from his last meeting (he's been here all week for work) and I'm already plotting ways to convince him to come with me on a run - even though it's hot as [insert what you may here] and we're both exhausted.
whenever I'm tired and don't have the energy to make it to the gym, I revitalize my workout playlist and add music that makes me want to get that heart rate up. all of a sudden, I become excited to listen to my playlist and the workout goes by quickly!
